ACTEMRA
ACTEMRA (tocilizumab) is a monoclonal antibody that helps the body’s immune system by targeting and destroying certain cells, thereby helping to protect healthy cells from damage. Specifically, it is an interleukin-6 (IL-6) receptor antagonist used to treat various types of arthritis by reducing the effects of a substance in the body that can cause inflammation.
